More About Acquire:

Sackson is one of the most prolific and productive American game designers of all time, and until his death in 2002 owned what is believed to be the largest game collection in the world.

Originally conceived as a game about the development and merging of hotel chains, the most recent editions of Acquire (published in 2000 and 2008 by Avalon Hill) changed the theme slightly to become a game about corporate mergers. The goal is to strategically invest in the companies most likely to benefit from the mergers.
